Given the very high margins on inference, once volume is large enough the other can also start printing enough money.

not sure it's comparable, but the issue is that for a lot of those mathematical results, they don't really have utility by themselves. The utility is the new branches/understanding that's being developped.

If that was all there is to it, there wouldn't be a problem - the results don't have utility by themselves so they can just be ignored.

There's no network effect headwinds, it's interoperable with git (I assume most people using jj have an upstream repo that's on git).

Also infrastructure costs might be billed differently between industrial vs retail.

(And the marginal cost on infrastructure isn't necessarily paid be the people increasing the demand)

Not sure it makes sense, most of those countries are already phasing out fuel/gas boilers.

IMO it's just cultural shift is slow to adjust (in those countries, a few decades ago AC would have been a wasteful luxury, summer temperature would be well below 30 except for a few days).

In some European countries government (and private entities) isn't allowed to collect ethnicity information.

Unfortunately ethnicity isn't the only thing you can discriminate on. You can figure out the ethnicity from surname a lot of the times.

I guess ITINs are already pretty cost to this.

Also wasn't giving them impossible tasks with ~unlimited tokens and unlimited compaction.
