Does it matter? People get caught up on LLM this and sure, a professional beats an LLM currently but I'd rather read some well written LLM text over some poorly written human effort
If it matters is subjective. But personally I stop reading when I notice it’s AI text because there is never anything in it worth reading. It’s just a prompt expanded in to paragraphs of filler text.
This kind of tool doesn’t need a whole Apple style marketing page to sell you on it.
It also signals effort to me, when I see vibeslop text I know the project most likely is a one shot weekend project full of issues which won’t be resolved. I’ve seen good examples of AI use in open source, and those projects write the readme and website copy without AI.

I think it depends a bit what's meant by "poorly" but I don't think I share that preference at all.
I would 100% rather read a developers copy explaining why they wanted to build something and what they think is useful about it, even if it isn't particularly polished.
As a comparison, LLM generated "marketing schlock" is polished, but it's normally pretty empty and doesn't convey much of it's value.
As an example, I use lazygit (a TUI git interface) - at least at the time I looked at it, the main intro was a youtube video of the developer talking through the features. It wasn't polished at all, but it did a great job of convincing me that lazygit was a project with a lot of love and thought put into it.
Your LLM text is obviously not well written if we spot it after 2 seconds. I won’t read it, doesn’t matter how beautiful it is, it’s just pure cringe, I notice, roll my eyes, close the tab. Please give me the poorly written human effort. Is it really that hard to spend 10minutes reading what you produced to see if that feels genuine?
I read plenty of not-obviously-AI-generated text and I much prefer doing that, even if it’s not from a professional.
It’s not about the quality of the text itself. If Claude was one person with a human level of output, Claude would probably be considered decent at writing.
But when I have to read the same genre of slop on 1 million different sites it gets really really annoying imo.
If you didn't even spend a minute writing a couple sentences about your own project, how much effort did you put into actually building and testing it? Or are you just letting others do the hard parts: Review and verification that your vibe-slop actually works as claimed, and then feed their feedback back into an LLM?
For cardio sure but for weight training you're burning calories and tearing muscle fibres to increase size/strength. Also depending on the running you're doing, you're likely staying fitter.
Sure it's easier to fast but you're missing out on the other benefits associated with exercise.

This is very true, exercise is very important for health regardless of its effect on weight.

True, but you need to spend even more time to rack up 800 Cal worth of exercise by weight training compared to doing cardio, as a beginner or even an intermediate level gym goer.
It is also true though that weight training, if you actually successfully build muscle mass, can significantly increase your BMR and thus help with losing weight in that way, even if you're not spending hours or lifting hundreds of kilos at every session.
Yeah, unfortunately back of envelope physics math about the kC burned for lifting weights is deeply disappointing. Luckily our bodies are quite inefficient compared to a bomb-calorimeter, because back of envelope gets me less than a (k)calorie per 3 sets of 5 lifts, if you just do lazy potential energy math.
A tiny technical note - Cal is the official symbol for a "large calorie", equal to a kcal, 1000 cal, if you want to be precise but concise on the exact type of calorie you're talking about.
Consumerlab is great for this. They test for heavy metal content and accuracy of nutrition labels. They've only tested 4 algae-based ones and they all passed. Carlson, DEVA, and Ovega are the brands they looked at (two from Carlson) with DEVA being their "top pick"

How often do we sit somewhere thinking about random scenarios that won't ever happen and are filled with wild thoughts and sometimes completely out of the world situations.. then we shake our heads and throw away the impossible from that thought train and only use what was based in reality
It never ceases to amaze me how blatantly incompetent Google is when it comes to software, blind and stupid is not hyperbole, the proper thing to do here is absolutely crystal clear, users are begging for it (I know, I've googled trying to find a desktop solution that works and doesn't cost $5/month ffs), and they just keep releasing pieces of crap over and over. It's hard to believe this is real life sometimes.
You're talking about company, you expect coherent product vision/strategy of a single entity.
Reality is that all these products are result of autonomy given to teams - it's not really pushed top-down, so new 'innovative' ideas are spearheaded and pushed up for strategy's adoption.
Are you actually calling out arguably the most successful web software company of all time (primarily through search and adwords) for being incompetent? A company that profits billions a...quarter?
Maybe chat just doesn't make them any money so they don't really give a shit and all of these things are pet projects that get shut down on a whim?
The key to Google is that their real Users are advertisers. That's it. The "users" you're talking about are the product they're selling to their real Users(Advertisers).
Boom. This is why Slack and Discord expand so much. Usability plus availability. Sad people at Google get paid a lot of money to not figure these simple things out. Know your enemy and then reimplement their work in your own better way. Allo needed a desktop client and the video stuff should of been built in stop trying to copy Apple in that regard.
